Castlemaine: Re-Visioned

Client: Personal Art Project      Status: Exhibited December 2015      Category: Master Planning, Urban Environments

While there is building awareness of climate change, most public discussion is concentrated on prevention and mitigation. This exhibition is focused on adaptation; how Castlemaine will need to re-think some of the fundamental ways in which it feeds, cares for and protects its people, the town and the environment.

The exhibition was created as a personal art project; an exploration of how scenario-based planning tools could be applied to Castlemaine. An opportunity was give for people to provide written feedback at the exhibition. This feedback provides an interesting snapshot of how people engage with these issues, and grapple with the uncertainty involved.
